The Project and Facilities Management Department hosted a booth at this year’s Take your Child to Workday on Thursday April 25, 2024. It was exciting to see the future generation of potential public service workers show interest, and all the exciting things we do on a daily basis!
Our Project Management team shared poster boards of ongoing exciting projects at our Regional parks, including new waterslides and splash pad amenities. They also provided demonstrations on reading and interpreting construction plans.
Our Facilities Management team provided demonstrations on special flush valves as well as an interactive and hands-on experience, teaching kids how to properly and deploy a fire extinguisher.
