The National Association of Counties (NACo) has honored Project and Facilities Management (PFMD) with a 2023 Achievement Award in recognition of our response to the Father’s Day fire on June 19, 2022, that caused significant damage to a six-story county building.
In collaboration with Department of Public Health, Real Estate Services, Risk Management, and the County Administrative Office, we were able to establish temporary work locations for the displaced employees from that building, and within 9 months of the fire, ensure 100% restoration of operational efficiency and a permanent work location.
PFMD will continue to strive each day to ensure county employees can work in a safe, well-maintained environment.
