Project Management completed this exciting new project on March 17, 2023, for the Department of Museums. The project beautifies the John Rains Historical Site in Rancho Cucamonga providing improved accessible access to the public.
The scope of work included saw cutting and removal of the existing asphalt for new ADA stalls, installing three regular and one van accessible ADA parking stalls with concrete, installing concrete curb to address erosion runoff, install new ADA markings and striping, remove the existing signs and reinstall on the fence, add new parking fine signs, add new truncated domes at ADA pathway, apply traffic grade paint for existing truncated domes, sawcut and remove existing brick walkway for new ADA concrete ramp, remove and reinstall existing ADA directional sign, provide and install (1) new ADA sign and sign post at SE corner of the house/walkway, remove existing east ramp, concrete landing and portion of the existing brick for new ADA ramp clearance, remove existing railing and ADA sign save for reinstallation, provide and install new ADA east ramp, landing and curb per ADA code, re-install existing and new handrail railing for new ADA ramp, adjust existing door closer per ADA code and remove an existing ADA sign and sign post at the back of the house and dispose.
