Facilities Management was recently called in to support the DeVore Animal Shelter with an urgent need for additional animal cages to accommodate relocated pets. Rising to the challenge, team members from all six zones came together and, in record time, constructed more than 20 new cages. In addition, staff completed several extra projects requested by shelter personnel to further enhance the facility.
This successful collaboration highlights the strong partnership among County departments and demonstrates a shared commitment to meeting the needs of every department — and the community we serve. The rapid response and teamwork underscore Facilities Management’s dedication to supporting essential services and promoting the well-being of animals in the County’s care.
